Natchez Trace Parkway, Tennessee, Alabama state line.
Not much there as far as a welcome center is concerned but there is shade and a picture stop.
Along the Natchez Trace Parkway around mile marker 350 is a town small little town, Collinwood TN. The town offers their Fire Station for cyclist to stay the night and it's free, they have showers, TV, electric to recharge devices and more. We did not cook food, there was a wonderful diner in town, with awesome service and great food. If you don't want to stay in the Fire Station, they have a park just 50' away in the back, where you can pitch your tent and still use the facility.
There are not a lot of rest stops along the route, when we came across one it was awesome. Every bathroom we stopped at on the Natchez Trace, was very clean and had running water.
First time camping after a bike ride, this is bike-packing. I chose not to sleep in the grass and stay under the shelter to keep the gear dry.
After riding the commuter bike then jump on the gravel bike,
the road bike is very responsive to the power on the pedal.
Tired legs, jumped on the Bianchi for a quick one and the joy of riding was ful-filled.
